Big Fish Media and Events congratulates Newmont Boddington Gold technician Jodie Gray on taking out a prestigious Women in Resources award, run by the Chamber of Minerals and Energy WA.
Big Fish Managing Director Monique Warnock worked with Jodie and the Newmont team and wrote the entry which took out “Outstanding Technican/Operator/Trade Woman in Resources”.
“Jodie was a stand out entrant and gave me some great material to work with when writing her entry,” Monique said.
“These awards recognise women who are working in WA’s resources industry who are leaders in their fields and demonstrate great leadership and innovative ideas.
“They are also encouraging more women to work in resources and Jodie in particular has spent much of her career encouraging women into this career path.
“Congratulations to Jodie and Newmont Boddington Gold on a fantastic win.”
CME Chief Executive Reg Howard-Smith presented the awards at a breakfast coinciding with International Women’s Day, attended by about 800 people.
