Congratulations to Zane Jones at Jones Mining Innovation of Bunbury for taking out the 2015 WA Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Big Fish Media & Events Director Monique Warnock wrote the entry for Zane (pictured far left) and said she was absolutely delighted with the result.

Judges said Zane was “the stand out” among the nominees, all aged under 35 years.

“Zane is an impressive operator with amazing drive, innovate ideas and a will to succeed,” Monique said.

“I knew I was working with someone special within minutes of sitting down with Zane to prepare his entry, and it was a privilege to work with him and write about his journey to becoming one of our leading young entrepreneurs.

“He saw a gap in the market with hiring equipment to mining companies by providing them with up-to-date equipment and exceptional service and then won customers in a competitive market with sheer determination.

“It was a great story to tell and Zane deserves this award and the recognition it will bring.”

Zane Jones was named as WA Young Entrepreneur of the Year winner at a breakfast in Perth on Thursday May 5.
